Ikat Collection
The word ikat comes from the Indonesian and Malay word for “tie” and is a resist-dyeing and weaving technique found in several parts of South East Asia. Traditional ikat textiles produced in the region were often imbued with ceremonial importance. The Ikat Bangle pays homage to the craftsmanship and artistry of these prized textiles, drawing inspiration from the angular motifs found on the intricately woven patterns.
